Terry’s Hot Yoga class is a challenging Power Yoga routine of yoga asanas and flowing movements incorporating the breath also known as a Vinyasa; this is then done in a room heated to 100 degrees. This makes it even more challenging and at the same time safer for your body. When your body is warm the muscles are more flexible and easier to stretch. The heat also makes the body sweat, releasing toxins and raising the metabolism. It is accessible to all levels of practice. For beginners it will make the body warm and ready to stretch. For more advanced students it will take your practice to a whole new level. And for anyone who likes to engage in healthy and challenging aerobic activity. Hot Yoga has all the benefits of a normal yoga class with the added benefit of heat. It will challenge and enliven you and add a new dimension to your yoga experience.
Be prepared to sweat. Bring a towel to place on top of your mat, and one to wipe off your face and body. Something to drink is a must, we recommend some water. Dress accordingly, you will be sweating and in a hot room so less is more.
