December's Featured Recipe: Eggnog Chocolates

Eggnog Chocolates
Ingredients:

  • 6 oz. Butter
  • 1 1/2 oz. Corn Syrup
  • 1 tsp. Nutmeg, ground
  • 1 tsp. Allspice
  • 1 ea. Vanilla Bean (scraped)
  • 18 oz. White Chocolate (tempered)
  • 1 1/2 oz. Dark Rum

Method:

  1. Cream together butter, corn syrup, nutmeg, allspice, vanilla.
  2. Slowly add tempered white chocolate into the above mix.
  3. Slowly add in rum.
  4. Using the star tip (size of your choosing) pipe pointed starts about the size of Hershey Kisses onto parchment paper.
  5. Allow to sit until firm enough to handle (about 20 minutes).
  6. Release the pieces from the parchment paper and dip them in tempered chocolate.
