Wine Bar at Mirbeau Inn & Spa Named a Wine Spectator 2012 Award of Excellence Winner

SKANEATELES, N.Y. – August 1, 2012 –Mirbeau Inn & Spa’s popular Wine Bar recently received an Award of Excellence in the Wine Spectator 2012 Restaurant Awards. These awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers.
A popular Skaneateles gathering spot, the Wine Bar at Mirbeau is one of only two in New York with Napa Technology wine stations, an interactive element that adds to the social environment of the wine bar that allows guests to browse and sample a variety of wines at different price points. The best local vintages are served alongside Opus One and Caymus labels from California as well as a wide selection of international wines. Wines can be paired with a variety of small plates including assorted artisanal cheeses, or with French and European-inspired style, classic and other creations at Mirbeau’s French Steakhouse.
